Glass Accessory Set Hardware
Glass Accessory Set Hardware brings together mechanical components used to control movement and locking of glass doors. Floor springs, upper/lower fittings, hinges and safety locks should be coordinated with glass thickness, door-leaf dimensions/weight and the same drilling or cut-out template.
Use the two related hardware groups below to compare floor-spring fittings and glass safety locks according to the door configuration.

Floor Springs and Fittings
For controlled glass-door movement see Ground Hydraulics and Apparatus. Floor-spring capacity, door size/weight, hold-open behaviour and associated fittings must be matched to the application.
Glass Safety Locks
For mechanical locking see Glass Safety Locks. Single/double-leaf, glass-to-glass or glass-to-wall arrangement and required glass machining affect compatibility.
Glass Thickness and Door Weight
Glass thickness alone is not enough to choose movement hardware. Door width, height, total leaf weight, usage frequency and pivot positions should be considered together.
Hole and Cut-Out Dimensions
Hole, slot and cut-out positions must follow the technical drawing for the selected fitting. Finalise these dimensions before glass production where later machining is restricted or impractical.
Finish and Material
Satin, polished and other finishes may be available. Consider environmental exposure, material compatibility and care requirements as well as appearance.
