H20 Vario Wall and Column Formwork System

H20 Vario Wall and Column Formwork System

H20 Vario formwork combines H20 timber beams, steel walers and plywood facing to create wall and column panels sized for the project. It provides a project-specific panel approach when standard modular steel-panel dimensions do not fit the required geometry.

Main System Components

  • H20 timber beams
  • Steel wall or column walers
  • Plywood form-facing surface
  • Beam-to-waler connections
  • Tie rods, nuts and plates
  • Brace and working-platform connections
  • Corner and stop-end components where required

How H20 Beams Work in the Panel

The H20 beams support the plywood facing while steel walers connect the beam layout into a complete panel. Panel dimensions and connection details are arranged around the project geometry.

Wall and Column Applications

The same timber-beam panel principle can be configured for wall and column formwork. Panel dimensions, corners and connection details vary with the concrete geometry.

Vario vs Modular Panel Formwork

Modular panel formwork uses ready-made steel-framed panels. H20 Vario panels are assembled from beams, plywood and steel walers according to the required panel size. See Trio Panel Formwork vs H20 Timber-Beam Formwork.
