- Suitable flooring and platform applications
- Decorative, shelving and exhibition-stand work
- Packaging and auxiliary construction applications
Difference Between OSB 2 and OSB 3
OSB grade relates to the intended environment and technical performance requirements. In general, OSB/2 is a load-bearing board class for dry conditions, while OSB/3 is a load-bearing board class intended for humid conditions. Product labels, technical data and project requirements should be checked before use.
Kronospan OSB Sizes and Thicknesses
2440 x 1220 mm is a common sheet size. Thicknesses such as 9, 10, 11, 12, 15, 18, 22 and 25 mm may be available depending on product range and stock.
Selecting the Correct OSB
Thickness alone is not sufficient for product selection. OSB grade, support spacing, loads, moisture conditions, fastening details and service environment should be evaluated together. Structural applications should follow project and manufacturer technical data.
