Concrete Spacer - Heavy Duty Type
Heavy-duty concrete spacer is an intermediate element used to lift reinforcement from the ground and help concrete flow beneath the reinforcement. It supports the required concrete-cover distance between formwork and steel reinforcement.
For normal reinforcement, 4 spacers per m² are stated to be sufficient. Without spacers, steel reinforcement inside reinforced-concrete elements may be more exposed to rust and corrosion.
The stated price is for the 7 cm concrete spacer; other sizes can be evaluated separately.
