Why Is My Concrete Vibrator Not Vibrating? Fault Symptoms

Motor Runs but the Head Does Not Vibrate

The coupling, flexible shaft or poker-head mechanism may no longer be transferring motion correctly.

Weak or Intermittent Vibration

Wear in the flexible shaft, loose connections, a crushed hose or wear in the head mechanism can produce irregular vibration.

Crushed Hose or Sharp Bends

Severe hose deformation can interfere with the movement of the inner shaft and increase mechanical stress.

Abnormal Metallic Noise

Unusual metallic noise can indicate wear or excessive clearance in the poker-head mechanism.
