Formwork braces, wedges, pins and H20 connection components perform different tasks in wall and column formwork. They should be selected as part of the complete system.
Bracing assembly
The brace, brace head, base, pins/cotters and approved anchors work together to position and plumb the formwork.
Wedges and pins
Wedges lock specific connection parts, while pins and cotters secure articulated or pinned joints. Use only compatible dimensions and inspect holes and components for deformation.
H20 connections
H20 U-clips, hooks and beam-connection brackets attach H20 timber beams to steel walers or to other beam arrangements depending on the system.
Used components
Check for bending, cracked welds, enlarged pin holes, excessive wear and severe corrosion. Structural capacity and anchorage details must follow manufacturer and project data.
