Dry block cutting machine is used with a suitable saw blade to cut pumice blocks, aerated concrete and similar construction materials.

Blade Selection

The blade must be selected for the material being cut. Marble, paving blocks, aerated concrete and pumice should not automatically be treated as suitable for the same blade; blade type should follow the material and manufacturer recommendation.

Dry-Cutting Safety

Dry cutting can generate substantial dust, so appropriate PPE, dust control and workspace ventilation should be provided. Machine guards should not be bypassed.
