Different models can use different numbers of code digits. A higher digit count does not by itself define the complete security level; body, shackle, mechanism and intended application should also be considered.
Shackle Dimensions and Fit
Shackle diameter, internal width and height determine whether the lock fits a locker eye, chain or hasp. Measure the actual locking point before ordering.
Setting and Changing the Code
Reset procedures vary by model. Follow the product-specific instructions during first setup, record the new code carefully and avoid forcing the mechanism. Check the documented procedure for forgotten-code situations before use.
Materials and Environment
